Late in the evening of February 25, we brought another orphan bear to the Center. We drived to pick up the cub to the Bezhanitsy village of the Pskov region, where the state inspector handed him over to us and said that the dog had found a den, and the female bear, feeling the threat, ran away, leaving the bear cub.
So in our Center appeared the TENTH orphan bear cub. This is a female, she was given the name Pskovushka. Her eyes are open, she is already trying to stay on her paws. Considering her development, she is already about one and a half months old, i.e. she was born in early January.
Pskovushka has light hair on her head with darker "glasses" around her eyes and ears, her body is darker, and two small white spots are located on her neck. While examining the cub no damages were found. The Pskovushka is well developed and well-fed - she was the only bear cub without other competitors for the mother's milk.
