The Committee immediately organized a rescue expedition, and the very next morning, April 6 (less than a day later), the bear cubs were delivered to OBRC.
The road from Lodeynopolsky district to us was long (about 12 hours), and in some places was very difficult (spring thaw). And we are grateful to the specialists of the Committee, who rescued the bear cubs and spent the whole night on the way non-stop to deliver them to us as soon as possible!
The baby bears were very tiny, weighing a little more than two kilograms. Brother and sister, fortunately, began to eat. Not as much as they should eat at this age, but that's not bad.
The bear cubs were named - Nestor-Pol' and Lodeyushka Gordeevna (Pol' and Lodeushka derived from the name of the city - Lodeynoye Pole).
