Now the time has come when the bear cubs are ready to be released to the wild. But to be sure that we return healthy animals to the wild, in addition to regular examinations, we together with the wildlife experts from Wild Nature Hospital, conduct an obligatory examination of all the cubs before releases.

Brown bear is a serious animal, and it is impossible to examine him with "bare hands". Using modern medicines and equipment we immobilize the bear cubs (it is not dangerous for them), carry out the necessary procedures while they are sleeping, including taking samples for analysis, measuring temperature, heart rate, examining ears, teeth, measuring all parameters and weighing, etc.

The results of the examination and analysis confirmed that the bears are healthy, developed in accordance with the age, no pathologies were revealed. As well, the cubs were vaccinated against rabies, and treated against parasites.

Thanks to the specialists of medical equipment company Medford, who provided us with the X-ray diagnostics equipment, we carried out X-ray diagnostic. Especially thoroughly, we checked Savva and Severina, the bear cubs, who suffered a serious illness at the age three months. Fortunately, brother and sister, together with the other bear cubs, have excellent health, without any complications.
